In a way, this may beat Google to the nation wide WiFi coverage. Imagine using your cigarette lighter to power a WiFi access point. You'll always be within 5 feet of a hot spot unless you're in the back of a Limo. You may think it's a wild idea, but it will soon start to become a reality. Broadband in your car!
Autonet Mobile says it'll work like any other hot spot. You'll be able to just use the wireless adapter you use anywhere else. The access point will be pricey ($400-ish), and on top of that you'll have a more than regular Broadband Bill ($50-ish). But that's not too outrageous to start at.
