Very Funny Notepad Glitch?

Notepad Secret Trick - video powered by Metacafe
I have no idea who figured this one out, but it is weird. Type "Bush hid the facts" in Notepad, then save it anywhere under any name, and close it. Now open the text file you just created and see the result. When I saw the video I thought the guy had some encoding setting off or so. I still couldn't believe it when I tried it myself. It only works on Windows XP. Funny!

The words "bush hid the facts" can be interchanged with any words with the same word length. For some reason Windows XP Notepad doesn't like a sequence of 4-3-3-5 and saves the files with encoding set to unicode.

If you type "xxxx xxx xxx xxxxx", you will get the same result. Somebody decided to bash Bush and used the glitch to further their agenda.

I was not that far off then! Thanks for clarifying, anonymous! I tried it again and used the viewer in Total Commander because it's easy to switch encoding, and it as you say!

No... lol stupid. Install languages on your computer please. It comes up as the Chinese characters "畂桳栠摩琠敨映捡獴" but your computer can't see it. And you probably can't read what I just pasted from it. -.-
